The peeps picked up the $50 gift card and will be donating it to the Stokes County Animal Rescue... this was where Daisy was rescued from and the anniversary of her passing is coming up, so they thought this would be an appropriate gesture in her memory. :o)

The peeps dropped by the Food Lion one night before the final 'voting' day for one last ballot stuffing. We were surprised to see some moolah already in her jar! :o) It wasn't the peeps!

Momma dropped by to check on my jar (and of course to load it up!) It seems as though they empty the jar on a weekly basis - probably cuts down on theft if the jars only have minimal amounts in it each week.

It's good to see that there's *some* money in the ELLA jar - and that momma's not the only one filling it up! :o)

Taking pics of my gorgeous self often results in green or red eyes on me, so tedious work is done through photoshop to clean up the pics. First the magnetic lasso comes out, then the desaturation (ctrl-shift-u!! gotta love those keyboard shortcuts), and finally the burn tool. Lots of tweaking with brush sizes and feathering of pixels go on. Momma is by no means an expert, but at least I don't have glowing eyes anymore. :o)

In the first two pics, momma dutifully gave me back my pupils.

She got lazy on the third pic and decided to leave it as-is...
